Our structural steel angles, channels, and beams are available in standard lengths of 6 metres and 12 metres. We also stock 9m and 10m lengths for select sizes. Custom cut-to-length service is available for bulk orders — please contact our sales team for requirements.
ISMB (Indian Standard Medium Weight Beam) is the most commonly used I-beam section with a moderate flange-to-depth ratio. ISWB (Indian Standard Wide Flange Beam) has a wider flange compared to its depth, offering better lateral stability and higher section modulus. ISWB sections are preferred for applications requiring resistance to lateral-torsional buckling.
Yes, we supply Hot Dip Galvanized (HDG) structural steel conforming to IS 4759 / ASTM A123. Galvanizing provides excellent corrosion protection for outdoor and marine applications. The typical zinc coating thickness ranges from 80 to 120 microns depending on section thickness.
For heavy-duty applications, we recommend E350 (yield strength 350 MPa) or E450 (yield strength 450 MPa) grades as per IS 2062. For international projects, ASTM A572 Gr.50 or EN 10025 S355JR are commonly specified. These high-strength grades offer better load-carrying capacity with reduced section sizes, leading to weight savings in the overall structure.
Yes, we provide Mill Test Certificates (MTC) for all structural steel supplies as per EN 10204 — Type 3.1. The MTC includes chemical composition, mechanical properties (yield strength, tensile strength, elongation, impact values), heat number, and dimensional details. Third Party Inspection (TPI) from agencies like BV, SGS, Lloyd's is also available on request.
For standard ex-stock sizes, there is no minimum order quantity — we can supply even single pieces from our ready stock in Mumbai. For non-standard sizes, custom lengths, or specific grades, the MOQ is typically 1 metric tonne (MT). Please contact us for project-specific requirements and we'll do our best to accommodate.
